okay so, first of all, hi, nice to see you again.

now to the point - it's been almost 2 years now and i didn't even really realize! i've been busy with life, life's been busy with me... basically, working 40(+) hours in retail sucks, moving is crazy, and being a little adult guy is exhausting. i almost quit doing any visual art about the time i stopped posting, so i focused on surviving and inadvertently soul searched my way back into it. i've done a lot of bits and pieces that maybe i'll share. i've got a lot that i want to eventually, but i've learned some things should just die with me - because holy shit, learning can be fugly.

anyways, big news about my art more than me - i'm starting up a comic! no, it's not this unfortunately, but it's an entirely original story i've been writing with my cowriter for about 2 years off and on. i first started writing it almost 6 years ago though (holy shit how was a year in the 2010s more than half a decade ago what is going on)! most of my art here is actually of the characters, at least these original concept designs.

i've always wanted to, but lacked the skill to not work on something for waaaay too long... I am still learning to make something in a timely manner, but so far has been good enough. next saturday is when i'm releasing the first page on comicfury, and in about a month from then, there will be a formatted version on webtoon. because i know like, two people who actually use webtoon.

should i release pages here, or only post the coolest looking ones or chapter covers? i'm thinking of going with the latter because my art uploads will be absolutely CLOGGED with pages but i don't really know. let me know what you think! i will be making a different blog post making it the shining star of the point once saturday rolls around. if you're so inclined, you can be the first to see it by subscribing on comicfury.

before i go, i wanted to ask some ending questions - how are you doing? anything interesting going on in your world right now? i want to connect with folks again so go ahead and talk my ear off. i'm not all ears, because frankly, that would be really disturbing. but, as i put on all my copy and pasted resumes, i'm an amazing listener. i also have a great sense of urgency and basic english competency.
